Fidel Castro, Concept Anniversary Post Stamp of the Cuban Revolution
I just started working with illustrations and getting a hang of it is a chore but I'm learning to enjoy it. I was talking to a friend of mine who is a designer and she's been guiding me a little bit through all the software and features, I can't help but draw a parallel between graphic design and sculpture.

I've always been drawn to flat vector illustrations and enjoyed the look of them, they're so simple yet so elegant. They can somehow convey more vividness by removing natural elements from the models you're designing.
With that being said, I think post stamps are perfect for said style, and have even seen elements of flat vector illustrations in more modern stamps.

Even if Fidel Castro is a controversial figure in history, we dare not rob him of the mark he left on humanity and the presence with which he did so.
In this specific design I attempted to conceptualize a modern stamp depicting the anniversary of the Cuban Revolution alongside its principal figurehead sat on a bed of sunshine.
